Situated along China’s southeast coast, Zhejiang covers a land area of 105,500 square kilometers and sea area of 260,000 square kilometers. Zhejiang boasts picturesque landscapes and a long history. Zhejiang is an amazing land brimming with vitality, with the rising of private enterprises of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Zhejiang has maintained close exchange and frequent trading activities with the rest of the world. In 2017, Zhejiang’s trade in goods reached 286.89 billion USD, of which the export and import volume between Zhejiang province and Serbia reached 143 million USD and the export 134 million USD, up by 15.3% and 11.7% respectively over last year with its export commodities covering machinery, light industry, home appliance, textile and hardware industry. Moreover, Zhejiang vigorously promoted private enterprises to part in the construction of outbound economic and trade cooperation zone, among which Belmax Logistics Park in Serbia is the only one recognized as the provincial-level outbound commercial logistics park.

Since 2006, China has been the largest trading partner for Serbia in Asia, and Chinese products are quite popular in Serbia market. Currently, Serbia is at the key stage of vigorously developing infrastructure and expanding market demand. Zhejiang Department of Commerce seizes the right opportunity, and hosts 2 nd Zhejiang Export Fair (Serbia) in Belmax Logistics Center, Belgrade during the period of May 24 th -26 th .

This year’s fair is hosted by Zhejiang Department of Commerce, marking the second year for Zhejiang province to independently host outbound fair in Serbia. We organize about 50 Zhejiang-based enterprises to attend with its exhibits ranging from building materials, hardware products, electricity, household appliance to hardware tools, and the total exhibition area reaching 2000 sqm. Over 3000 visitors from Serbia and its surrounding countries would visit the show, making them know better about Zhejiang Made products and approach high quality suppliers of Zhejiang province. As for the orders from professional buyers during the show, the host would provide extra service and guarantee to these buyers for the signing, payment, logistics, customs clearance, after-sales service and related parts. Zhejiang Export Fair (Serbia) will undoubtedly become the most favorable platform to promote Sino-Serbia bilateral trade.
